Lucky Sevens: Las Vegas Edition

Hey there friends and family. Lets ignore the fact that we have yet again been neglecting the blog and move on to the vacation recaps, shall we? Okay.

October marked our seventh anniversary. What?
So we took our talents to Las Vegas. We love it there.

We have celebrated our anniversary in Las Vegas four out of seven years. We are very, very lucky to have a kind, benevolent benefactor who likes to give us a free stay at Caesars Palace every year.

This year we really wanted to do some regular Vegas/non-Vegas stuff. There is always the opportunity to breathe in second-hand smoke and eat waaay too much delicious food, but this time around we also headed out to Hoover Dam and did the dam thing.

Pretty there, ain't it?

That guy I'm married to maybe tried to push me off (no he didn't).
We also did the usual Vegas-y stuff that we enjoy including a tour through the Bellagio's flower gardens, which are decked out for autumn and so pretty.

We also capped off our trip with super fancy eats...at Buffalo Wild Wings. We are super classy like that.
Apologies for the worst picture of junk food ever.
When we were headed home, we decided to make a small purchase to remember our anniversary...so we bought a car. This seems to always be the way. Go to Vegas with intentions of 7th anniversary debauchery and end up responsibly saving our money by eating wings on a budget to improve the family MPGs. Oh, is that only our family? Well, we really like our new car. So there's that.
We had a great anniversary weekend in Las Vegas, and we can't wait to head back there soon!
