Kauai 2013

Aloha! We recently returned from a very relaxing Hawaiian vacation in which we celebrated my step-dad Mike's 60th birthday!

I truly cannot believe he's 60 - he doesn't look a day over 32!

When we arrived it was stormy and dark, but given that it was still about 85-degrees out, the rainy conditions didn't dampen our spirits at all!

Once we settled in, our days were spent hiking and eating. Not always in that order.
We also spent a good portion of the time watching sunsets.
So cliche, so true!

One of the days we were there, Matt and Mike had gone off golfing and my mom, my Uncle Bill, and I took off to go see the coffee plantation.  It was really neat to see the coffee growing on trees and the view from the plantation was gorgeous.

It was an awesome trip, and these are only a few of our pictures...I can't wait to go back again someday!  Happy Birthday Mikey - we think you're great!
