August 3, 2007 brought a GREAT occasion...Melissa and Jason finally tied the knot!!
They both looked like their super-model selves, but the highlight was getting all of the friends and family together for such a great reason...
Friday, August 2 was a "dress-up day" for all of us bridesmaids and Kelly, Theresa, Katrina, and Melissa got mani/pedi's before the rehearsal at the Grand Island Mansion and dinner at Buca di Beppo in Sacramento...
That night the bridesmaids reconvened at Theresa's house (thanks to the Scherber's for their unending hospitality!) for a wedding-bouquet-making extravaganza. We all thought we did a pretty great job for a bunch of amateur florists!
Saturday morning was breakfast at Mimi's Cafe and then off to get beautiful with hair/make-up/ and the WORKS!!!
Finally, the wedding was ON and we all trucked out to the Grand Island Mansion on the Sacramento Delta. The location and wedding design were simply BEAUTIFUL and so very Melissa!! We could see how much work Lissa had put into the weekend and we were all sooo happy for the soon-to-be-Wuest Family!
After the wedding ceremony and reception, Melissa and Jason put us all up at the Grand Island Mansion where we were treated like kings and queens...they even brought us homemade pizza in the common room at Midnight...YUM!
Needless to say, this was one GREAT party and being there to witness the joining together of such a great couple was the best part!
