Makin' Money!

In the wide world of white trash activities, nothing really compares as favorably as the garage sale. 

This summertime shedding of all things "gently used" is the siren song for those attempting to snag a great deal.

And in order to feel really, truly American, once a year my dear friend, my beloved sister and I weed through all of the tems that we have both collected and not touched in the past 12 months and put them out on my driveway.

Then we collect money from passerby.

Obviously a genius business plan, right??

All in all, a garage sale may be pretty trashy simple, but dang is it effective.

We ended our morning after making $25/hour each AND making room for all the new things we will purchase with our earnings!!

Plus, a morning spent with these lovely ladies purging our closets and bulking up our wallets while accompanied by a bag of these little guys...

...is just about the best thing I can think to do on a Saturday!
