Thirty {and Thriving}

It is time to come to terms with it.
I. Am. Thirty.
There, I said it...now lets recap how that happened:

My mom swooped into town to celebrate her cutest smartest ELDEST daughter, and we rocked a ton of 'staches!

And in true proud-mom fashion, she took me to shop for most of the days she was here!
{Being 30 means it is officially time to keep time!}
{She finished the whole set of chairs - we couldn't be more thankful!}
Then my rad sister got these ladies together to paint some pottery
{and obviously rock more mustaches}
{Ready to get artsy!}
{Forehead 'stache}
{Rhi. Meg. Me. Katylady}
This superfragalistic party was followed up by lunch and lounging lady-style at Sammy's in Del Mar.
{VGs Breakfast Cupcakes!}
{Smiling so big it hurt!}
 The rest of the day was spent hanging out and making  a {few} cakes for another party the next day!
Woo Hoo!

Around 9:00pm that evening we heard a LOUD knock on the front door while we were watching a movie.
It scared us, and Matt said, "DON'T GO OUT!"
We did not.

A few minutes later out cell phones started ringing off the hook, and then a creepy voice said,
"BIRTHDAY GIRL- Get out front NOW!"
Which should have been even scarier than the loud knock,
but for some reason caused us to jump right up and out the front door!
Once out front of the house, we {and allll the neighbors!} were greeted with this bit of graffiti:

{Can you tell I was in movie-watching mode?!?}
Life-Sized Kelly!! Oh my!
Our sweet friends Brad and Kirstie had totally surprised me with this massive poster!
Thanks guys - this seriously made my night.

Following the evenings shenanigans, we were ready for another party on Sunday with all of our San Diego family and friends.
Meg and Jeffer showed up with my very favorite furball of all time, Lilah-bean!
{She is a party animal!}
The food  was delicious and copious, but the party people were the best!

I promise there was more adult supervision- we simply failed on taking pictures of the parents...
because these kids are just too hilarious!
Turning 30 has been pretty great, and I honestly cannot wait to see what 31 has in store!
