Ain’t no party like a wedding party, ‘cause a wedding party don’t STOP!

 So, this is the point at which I refuse to acknowledge that I haven’t written anything on this blog since…well…forever and we all move forward and love each other anyway!

It has been a super-fun and super-busy summer so far with various activities that all follow one MAJOR theme:

WOODLAND FAMILY WEDDING SEASON!!!

This summer 2010 wedding season, however, is the best yet because my little, tiny, baby sister is the one at the very center of all things bridal!  My sweet sister Megan has endured rival bachelorette party throw downs, tapas with octogenarians, too much pool time in the Palms Spring sun, being doubly showered with house wares, multiple trips to Sacramento/Santa Rosa/Napa/Healdsburg, a gazillion dress fittings, and way, waaaay too much fun to emerge victorious as THE Bride of 2010!  More amazing you ask? She doesn’t even look any worse for wear:

This fantastic, Friend-filled weekend was followed up with not one, but TWO Bridal Showers!
The first shower was thrown in Sacramento by Megan’s College friend, roomate, and now bridesmaid, Ashley, and it was gorgeous!

The second shower was also the inaugural party at our new home, and I think we all held up really well!

Huge thanks for everything goes out to all of our sweet family, friends, and especially my dear husband for the amount of time I have spent prepping for one girlie thing or another for the past six months.
