Epilogue

Since leaving the Broken Yolk Café a broken yolk man, Craig has been eager for an opportunity to redeem himself. The chance arrived in the form of a 3lb-carne-asada-burrito in La Jolla called “El Campeon.” (That’s The Campeon for all you non-Spanish speakers.) This was no match for Senor Craig. Armed with this boost of carne asada and self esteem, a new challenge was laid before our fearless hero: 3 In N’ Out '4x4' cheeseburgers, fries and a drink in one sitting.

For those of you that don’t know, a '4x4' at In N’ Out Burger is a hamburger with 4 patties of meat and 4 slices of cheese, along with the usual complimentary items: lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions and special sauce.

In heroic fashion, Craig requested his meal “Animal Style” (including the French Fries), and proceeded to devour all three burgers and side of fries in less than one hours time. It was truly an amazing feat. I will never be able to eat there again. Thanks Craig…
