"Don't hate the Player, Hate the Game"
Or in this case...go ahead and hate BOTH. I know we do!!
**WARNING: The Reading of the Following Blog may cause Intense Rage-Fueled Outbursts from Laker Fans**
This week Kobe FINALLY secured his place in the National Basketball Association's hearts as the 2008 League MVP. Or he paid them off with lots and lots of money. Or he whined and moaned like a three-year-old girl for so long that they finally just gave it to him because no one wants to listen anymore.
Here is the man himself with his "well-earned" trophy:
All he had to do was complain about his coach, threaten to leave the team, leave the team, see that the Lakers were actually doing fine without hm, beg for his position back, and commit a few counts of sexual assault.(Awww...that wasn't nice!)
Well, needless to say there are a few other names that were tossed around the Woodland household over the past few weeks as MVP Candidates.
Prepare yourselves for a list of people who are far more Awesome and Deserving than Kobe:
Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets. This league underdog has single-handedly driven his recent start-up team to the Playoffs and kept them there. Respectable.

Cookie Monster. Kind to Women and Cookies.
This guy...Enough Said.

Amen to the hating of Kobe...doesn't character count for the mvp, obviously not proven his history. I do have to hand it to him though he does have incredible moves...which make me sick considering I am a huge Utah Jazz fan.
Oh yea, I cast my vote for Chris Paul!
hahahaha. i used to be laker fan until i married dave, the only kings fan on the world. haha j/k. and yes kobe is a douche.
KK and the Andrews...
I never though we would get any support for this Blog! makes me love you guys even more!!
We are totally with you! We don't allow Kobe's name to be mentioned in our household or the whole Laker team for that matter :) If the Jazz don't make it, we are going for NO all the way!
Complete joke. The award is rigged. Nash getting jipped out of a three-peat and then this. Come on!
Chris
You shouldn't get the MVP if your back only hurts when you're on defense.
13-33, 1-10 3-pt
Like his friend in Colorado, Kobe put the MVP in the corner and wouldn't let it go until it was his.
Take care of center field for me, Showtime.
